“Travel has introduced me to some of the most incredible people in my life, but every one of those connections required someone to break the invisible social barrier that exists in airports and on airplanes. I saw an opportunity to change that. Knackel is my attempt to make travel feel less transactional and more human by helping people connect before takeoff, reducing uncertainty, and creating experiences that simply weren't possible before. My background in psychology at the University of Miami and entrepreneurship at Rutgers helped shape the vision, but the idea came from years of living it firsthand. This app is more than a passion project, its an attempt to help reshape an entire global industry and help get it up to speed with the current, social reality we are living in… one flight at a time.”
